3WW CLXIII

Image of a tangled mass of burnt incense.Dear Gentle Reader,

It's 3WW time, again.

Thank goodness.

This week (CLXIII) the words are errant, hanker, and murky.

Further, as usual, each haiku gets its very own American sentence title.

We all host dark desires, but most let them be, to slip away; thank God.

murky minds harbour
errant thoughts and hanker for
things best left alone

The scene: a sweltering day, solitude, us, a creek and a blanket.

"I hanker for a..."
She paused. Errant hormones gushed;
murky hopes arose...

Lazy day out of the lawman's way; too hot to fish, too hot to work..

Errant fry darted
in the murky water. Jed
hankered for moonshine.

I'll catch up on 3WWs missed another time.

Tschuess,
Chris

Oh. And I am now adding music to my posts. We'll see for how long... But, today...

Wonderful use of words Chris! I like it when so much is said in so few words.

Always a pleasure to see you playing in the garden of 3WW. Fine, fine pieces all. You do have a way with words, my friend.

Hello Scribe,

The music certainly adds a new dimension to your poetry. I must say that listening to the Mustachioed Women singing "Moonchild" while reading your haiku added a murky, errant "je ne sais quoi" to the poems, giving me a hankering to do all kinds of things.

I believe I can see that same trend today in your poetry. It's full of deviant desires and felonious fulminations. Are you sure they didn't do brain surgery (as well as coral polyp liposuction)? Or is this really Pommes at his nefarious best?

Have a deviantly felonious day!

Teresa

Wonderful diversity in the errant murk here, Chris. Bravo. Jed would, wouldn't he? Love all the sentences and all the "pomes," but love the second American Sentence best. That much murk and swelter, though, gotta ditch the blanket. Hopefully the clothes wuz gone already...
