Hi - thanks for visiting! Am just off to Raph's site to try and locate your haiku. Like your blog a lot and think that cat is pretty clever taking the photograph - so shall put you (and the cat) on my blog list. Call again!
I've been looking at the photograph to see the connection, Sepiru Chris - maybe some hidden microflorets? I notice there are small mops for sale - yes! To de-floret our kitchen walls after thwacking!
The pleasure was mine. If you come back, use the 'poetry' label to find the page Raph was talking about.
Bindu,
Thanks Bindu. Though, like Newton, I stood of the shoulders of giants.
["If I have been able to see further than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727)]
To get what I mean, you have to read the posting I have linked to, and I know you have.
[Raph would like Newton because he was a polymath who was phenomenal at time management, like Raph, and he also created the first practical reflecting telescope, which makes it easier for Raph to see us and vice versa.]
SandyCarlson,
I couldn't have put it better myself. You have quite a way with words, Sandy!
Raph,
I thought he looked as chuffed as I felt. (Which is why that is written in the hidden title of the picture--apply mouse to discover; its an ancient druidical earth talent...)
And you are so correct, I thought those mops might be handy after Littl' Nicky starts work on creating his Floret frescos in the kitchen. I just did not want to say it out loud.
ThomG,
Fine work ought to attract praise in a reasonable universe. One day I will screw up my courage to attempt something like your flash fiction. But not yet. I like prolixty still.

That Haiku was brilliant! Very visual.
That's a fun haiku.
I love the self-sorting nature of this chaotic blogger universe. Great stuff.

Hey, thanks for the props and stuff. Always nice to gain a fan of my scribblings.
Love the haiku. An under-appreciated art form.
Congrats, Scribe!! Aloha-
