Something old, something new, something borrowed...

Picture of a bride lifting up her dress to show off her glowing orange shoes; or maybe to walk down the stairs without tripping or dirtying her hemDear Gentle Reader,

As the old rhyme for the bride goes...

Something old,

Something new,

Something borrowed,

Something....

fluorescent orange?

Your humble scribe goggled in the shadow of the bride.

The bride carried no other footwear for his pre-nuptial fashion shoot.

Before you say, "Well, they were just for walking", she carried no other shoes and she wore these shoes for the photo shoot.

Second picture of the bride showing that her glowing orange shoes are visible even when she is not holding her dress upAnd, you could see her shoes when she was standing and not holding her dress up.  See! (Second picture.)

You should have seen them glowing in the grass.

The photographer communicated, through sign language, that this site was picked because of the orange flowers which matched the bride's shoes (see photo up top).

Unfortunately, neither the bride nor the photographer spoke English or Mandarin, and your humble scribe speaks no Cantonese, because I really wanted to know the back story on these fluorescent orange shoes.
