Hello, again, from Hong Kong.
It's 3WW time, again.
This week (CXLI) the words are dangerous, keepsake, and restless.
Further, each haiku gets its very own American sentence title.
Those loves we dare not speak or name... ...will burst, roar out, be mighty, inflame...Dangerous passionsheld tight, close, like prized keepsakesare restless; burst cages
A screed against maudlin materialism from a nihilist...Keepsakes? Dangerous--for restless men and women--they'll hold your heart back.
Kobe earthquake, nineteen ninety-five, seven point two on the Richter scale...restless bottles fallkeepsakes in Kobe totterdangerous Japan
Tschuess,
Chris

These are great! I like the first one the best!
Happy Wednesday!

Dear Chris,
I like the first one best, too, but they all are quite good.

Go man, GO!
Hey, does Pommes know anything about those HK acid attacks?
Just asking.....Be safe my friend
Aloha
number two is my favorite - yes, watch out for keepsakes..look forward, not back..
A great style - the third one rattles and shakes. Nice stuff!
I like that #3. intriguing on spiritual/materialism level, and as a warning against living in the past - the minor depression of nostalgia.
Muy delicioso los haiku.
When I first read your intro, I thought you were saying that the words this week were dangerous, like you betta watch out. Words planted, perhaps, by the Mighty Pommes or the cheesemonger. The ice were thin - skate at your own risk.
But no...
Lakers fans will like #3. All muy bien: I'll take door #1. American Sentence #1 is fave of faves.
Brilliant. I was all ready to say I loved the 2nd best, but then I read the Kobe one and understood the reality it illuminates.
Liked all but third is my favourite!
stuck in time
All is my vote but number 1 is favorite when said by throat.
Smiles abounded
These were neat, Chris.
Dangerous Japan?! That is all I have to say to you. Also, hilarious.
